We are dedicated to nurturing students to use their unique talents and values to become beacons that illuminate paths in times of darkness. As light, students will shine truth and justice, spread positive energy, and provide hope and courage to those around them and will generate creative thinking that brings about new ideas and innovations to change the world. Similarly, as salt, students will prevent the decay of society, establish moral standards, and add flavor and value to people’s lives. Just as a small amount of salt can create significant change, we emphasize that students’ small acts of kindness and consideration can have a large impact.

We aspire not merely to produce individuals who are successful by worldly standards, but to cultivate those who, regardless of their occupation, fulfill their role as salt and light in their communities.
