Building a strong relationship between the school, parents, students, and the surrounding community is a vital aspect of the educational experience at Cornerstone Global Academy (CGA). With this goal in mind, a Parents’ Meeting was organized in the early month of the semester to discuss the school programs and curricula. This meeting aimed to foster collaboration and ensure everyone is aligned with the school’s mission and vision.
The Parents Meeting was held on different days for primary and secondary levels to cater to the specific needs of each group. The meeting for primary-level parents took place on July 17, while the secondary-level parents convened on July 22, 2024. The event began with a prayer, followed by a welcome speech from the principal, who warmly greeted new parents and emphasized the core values that CGA upholds.
Following the opening remarks, the school shared detailed information about the academic programs, extracurricular activities, and other initiatives planned for the semester. To accommodate parents from remote areas who could not attend in person, the school also provided a Zoom option, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to participate and stay informed about their children’s education.
Small group discussions were organized for each grade level to ensure that parents could voice their opinions and collaborate with the school. This interactive session allowed parents to express their thoughts, share suggestions, and discuss the best approaches to support their children’s education. The school believes that such open dialogue is key to creating a positive and effective learning environment for all students.
