The Teacher Training program at Cornerstone Global Academy (CGA) aims to prepare all teachers and staff for the upcoming academic year with a unified perspective and shared values. This intensive training session is scheduled from July 1st to July 5th, just before the students commence their school year. The program features various insightful sessions led by professional speakers.
In the opening session, the founder of CGA shared the institution’s core values and long-term goals. Following this, the Chaplain conducted QT Training for teachers, guiding them on leading student devotions and emphasizing the pattern “Who is God, Man, and Me” in the Bible during every devotion.
CGA also invited the principal and vice principal of Dreamy School in Korea as guest speakers to discuss the Korean educational system and curriculum. They shared insights on “Future Education in the Age of AI” and “Designing the Christian Future Curriculum.” Additionally, one of Dreamy School’s alumni shared her testimonials on the impact Dreamy School has had on her life
Another guest speaker, Mr. Roy Sundoro, discussed “The Impact of the ACE Curriculum,” focusing on the influence of the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum on students and teachers. Mrs. Marisi Uli Simanjuntak also presented “Proactive Learning Methodology,” introducing innovative teaching methods to encourage active learning.
In this comprehensive training program, several key topics were addressed to equip CGA teachers and staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality education and foster a positive learning environment for students. The Principal shared strategies for effective and creative classroom management, while the School Director led a session on instilling strong work ethics among teachers and staff. A curricula developer discussed “Bridging Merdeka Belajar & Accelerated Christian Curriculum,” aiming to integrate holistic learning approaches from both initiatives. Additionally, the Music Teacher explored the role of music in fostering perseverance in students.
